The Secret World of Doing Nothing

Over the past months we have been gathering to come up with ideas about art, creativity and dissent. All in all it has been a pleasant and joyful experience, but of course working in a group with eight other people is not always without its debates, fine-tunings and disagreements. We had some discussion just about the dynamics of the group, where I realized that communication is the key. By working on the issues that were frustrating for us, we managed to involve each other in the working process. Listening, being respectful and interested in the other people‘s work, helped us to overcome some of the initial problems. Overall, from my perspective, we managed well to cooperate and listen to each others ideas, delving into the concepts of art and creativity together, getting to know the actors and the project from Globe Aroma. We also shared ideas and thought process, which for me was especially interesting as in such a diverse group everyone had interesting insights and expertise. I am thankful for being part in such an engaging research seminar.
