What's with All the Bugs?

You'll find a lot of crawly critters all over my webpage! Most of these buggy little images were taken by me and my husband., and now I've chosen to display them here along with my writing and teaching insights. This isn't just because I love insects (which I do), and it also isn't because I want to scare you (which I don't). Insects are small creatures that still manage to have a great impact on their environments. If you check out my "About Me" page or my "Teaching Philosophy" page, dear reader, then you will find that these powerful little beings relate back to thematic elements in my own writings and my own teaching goals. Small beings, small things, and small moments matter in life and in writing education.
