Updated 10/10/18: You can now create an account on Make Beliefs Comix to save your work!

1. If this is your first time, be sure to view the demo before creating your first comic strip. Press the Click To View Demo button from the homepage.
2. Use the Previous/Next buttons on either side to view all six pages of the tutorial. Be sure to read the captions below!
3. After viewing the demo, look for Creating Comix along the top menu bar and then choose Create Comix Now!
4. Take your time to create an interesting story using as many as 9 panels. Add backgrounds, objects, characters, bubbles, etc.
5. When you are finished, you will need to create an account so you can save your work. Look just above your comic panels to the right hand side and press the blue Print-Email-Save button.
6. On the next screen, be sure your title and author's name have been filled in. Press the Sign in to Save Online! button. At the bottom of the pop-up, press Register.
7. Your username should be an animal followed by a 4-digit number (ex. cobra7531, tiger8935). Your password should be the reverse of your username, number then animal (ex. 7531cobra, 8935tiger). You may enter your school Google email address if you wish (but you don't have to). Then press Register and Sign In.
8. Now that you are signed in, press the Save Comic Online button to preserve your work. You can continue editing until you are completely happy with your creation. Be sure to make a final save before leaving this page.

1. Click the picture to the left to begin your registration.
2. Your username should be an animal followed by a 4-digit number (ex. cobra7531, tiger8935). Your password should be the reverse of your username, number then animal (ex. 7531cobra, 8935tiger). Ask your instructor if you have any questions about creating your username or password. Check the box that says "I have read and understand...". Press the Sign Up button when you are ready.
3. On the next screen, you will need to enter:
   • School/Teacher Name: techbrainiacs
   • Access Key: techbrain23
   • Your Name: Full first AND last name
4. Press Join to officially create your account, but you still need to join the TechBrainiacs class.
5. From the next screen, your dashboard, scroll down until you see the My Classes section. Press the Manage My Classes button.
6. On the My Classes page, look under Available. Find TechBrainiacs and then press Join on the TechBrainiacs Create and Code 2018-2019 class. The class password is techbrain23. Voila! You're all set!
7. Click the Create a Storyboard button to get started creating.

First time? Here's how to get started!

2. Enter the class password: techbrain and press Submit.
3. On the next screen, select No when asked if you already have a Storyjumper account. If you DO have a Storyjumper account and know your login, you can press Yes to add your account to this new class.
4. Do NOT select Sign In with Google. Instead, enter your first name and last name. If you do not wish to keep the suggested username, you may create your own. Your username should be an animal followed by a 4-digit number (ex. cobra7531, tiger8935). Be sure to write it down on your Student Login sheet exactly how you see it on screen. Then press Create Account.
5. The first time you log in, you will use the default class password, which is: techbrain. You will then be asked to change your password. Your password should be the reverse of your username, number then animal (ex. 7531cobra, 8935tiger). Ask your instructor if you have any questions about creating your password. Be sure to write down this new password on your Student Login sheet exactly as you entered it.
6. Before beginning your first book, take some time to look at books that others have created in the Library.
7. When you are ready to create, press the Home menu option and then select Create a Book. Decide if you will start with a blank book or one of the pre-created templates. The first time you enter the book editor, you will be shown a video (also available on this page) about how to create your book. Take the time to watch it and then get started. Happy creating!
