Liz Haywood's book Zero Waste Sewing took me on a deep dive into zero waste sewing during the pandemic. I loved experiencing how zero waste can be achieved through the use of squares, one seam construction and tessellations. 

I had to do some extra piecing to create my tie front tops because at the time Liz hadn't graded up to my size. Since then she has added an updated top which is on my list to try because I get so many compliments on these tops.
