An exploratory attempt at shoe design exploring materials and fastening methods, the grip 2 foam flex runner, was a 2nd year project at Humber college.
The grip 2 was initially mean to be an easy lace concept to enable those with poor dexterity to have a shoe with a securely fitted upper. The project then became an experiment in mold making, and lacing design.
The Grip 2 Concept shoe was a model I made where possible with fresh ingredients from the knob on the boa system to the laces, , to the shoe sole itself,
