The Summit is open to all individuals in organizations looking to support and deliver real impact through collaborative meetings and active participation in meaningful CAP efforts and events.
The multi-sector framework means that you have a place and a voice to forward CAP efforts - work that has demonstrated results that include:

Why: what we hear:
Many "ships in the water" "cooks in the kitchen" - accessing the same resources, unsure of how to gain more bandwidth. All are valuable, but how can we work toether to go farther?
Unclear goals/direction. Success means different things to different people. What is the vision?
Work is fragmented – new partners/programs/initiatives are duplicative, taxing the same “fatigued “stakeholders, tapping the same funding and talent resources

Is Change Necessary? Urgent?
Recent national reports from the National Governor's Association, and Georgetown University recognize leading factors that define this change is timely and urgent.Â
The talent pipeline is shrinking. Aligning talent needs with high demand occupations is more important than ever.
The following regional organizations are invested in the work of Career Awareness and Preparation and have gathered to combine forces to help forward this work in South Central PA:
A South Central PA Alliance to develop and sustain a vibrant workforce in the region. The purpose of the Alliance is to support existing work, define and assist with gaps, and create more equitable and accessible supports through partnership and collaboration.
Review, Develop and Adopt best practices
Avoid duplication of efforts
Allow a common place for collaboration and alignment
Create a platform for equity of opportunities and leverage through economies of scale
Share resources
Provide a forum for innovation
Gain policy and advocacy voice to support regional efforts
