3 sunflowers
3 carnations
2 mums
1 pittosporum
6 leather leaves
2 lotus pods
2 wooden picks
3 cattails
Assorted leaves
Oasis/container
Snips/apron
Snip your sunflower stems to 2-3 inches on an angle to promote water intake
Insert the sunflowers into the oasis and create three points by creating a triangle
Open the carnations by gently twisting the calyx
Place the carnations in the insides of the sunflower triangle, which should also resemble a triangular shape
Begin to add the pittosporum around the three points you created
Grab you leather leaf and cut it into smaller pieces using your snips, removing the bottom two leaves
Place the leather leaves so the oasis is nearly covered
Take your mums and cut the stems to 2-4 inches. Place where parts of the oasis are still shown
Optional Steps
Use your two wooden picks and gently insert them in the softest part of the lotus pod. Do not insert the picks all the way through
Insert the lotus pod into the oasis to your liking. You can also use cattails or assorted leaves to make your arrangement stand outÂ
