Gather your materials, you will need:

Cut the flower's stem about an inch under the calyx, (the rounded base). 

Using the piercing method, insert the half wire straight through the calyx.

Fold your half wire in half, down the side of the flower's stem

Cover the wire using floral tape.

Trim the wax flower to an appropriate length and put it in the center-back of the carnation.

Secure the wax flower using floral tape.

snip your leather leaf stem to your desired length, then place it on the base securing it with more tape.

 Grab the bow and position it to your liking.

To secure the bow, use its wire to wrap around the stem.

Use floral tape to stick the bow on the corsage.

Lastly, ensure your mechanics are hidden, and the items are secured with floral tape. Trim the stem of the carnation to the desired length.
