Gather your materials, you will need:
one chrysanthemum,
a leather leaf
a sprig limonium
2 half wires
floral tape
an apron
wire cutters
snips
Cut your chrysanthemums with the snips to about one inch.
Insert your half wire into the flower using the hook method. This method is used on disk-shaped flowers like the chrysanthemum. Align it slightly above the flower's center.
Shape the end of your wire into a hook.
Pull the wire into the flower's core to hide the hook shape.
Repeat with your other chrysanthemum.
Cover your mechanics with floral tape by wrapping it around the wires.
Grab your sprig Limonium and take an appropriate amount to add to the back of your boutonniere, just above the chrysanthemum.
Wrap floral tape around the stem to secure it.
Add an appropriate snippet of leather leaf to the back of your flower.
Lastly, wrap floral tape around the stem so it adheres to the flower.
