Dear Participants,

Welcome to the CQE Days 2025!

We are thrilled to bring together the CQE community for two days of scientific exchange, collaboration, and inspiration. This year’s programme highlights the diversity and excellence of the research developed across our centre, featuring plenary lectures, oral, flash and poster communications, as well as a round table discussion. From the engaging round table with CQE spin-offs to the interactive MatchMyLab activity, the programme is designed to foster new connections and stimulate multi- and interdisciplinary collaboration. Culture also has its place in this edition, with a captivating photography exhibition by Isabel Correia, taking us on a visual journey from Asia to South America - an opportunity to discover her work and share perspectives within our community.

The Book of Abstracts showcases the breadth of research topics presented during the event. We hope it serves not only as a lasting record of the meeting but also as a source of inspiration for new ideas and future collaborations.
