Meet the Staff

Rebecca "Bandi O's" Montague
Camp Director
She/Her

Bandi O's has been camping with Girl Scouts for quite a while now. She was a camper beginning in 2003 and was able to complete both the CIT and JC programs at CPW. She joined the staff at CPW in 2014  and stayed for several years working as General Counsellor, Program Specialist, Unit Leader, Program Director, Support Director, and Assistant Camp Director.

Her favorite unit in Camp is Tulip Poplar and her favorite camp activity is either creeking or archery!

Outside of Camp, Bandi O's is involved in the performing arts, reading, crafting, bicycling, and traveling. She also has a sweet cat named MaryLou who she will not hesitate to show you photos of!

Harper "Squiggle"  Everett
Program Director
He/They

Squiggle started camping as a brownie at CPW in 2009. After that, they went to camp every summer at Camp Wood Haven in the Girl scout Council of Eastern Pennsylvania. They completed both CIT 1 and CIT 2 there, but came back to work at Potomac Woods in 2021 as a program specialist.

At camp, their favorite things to do are team building, archery, and singing!

Outside of camp, they enjoy hiking, reading, knitting, and hanging out with their cats.

Nikka "Pandora" Bakhtiar
Health Center Manager
She/Her

Pandora began her time at CPW back in 2021 and can’t wait to return this summer as the Health Center Manager. A former Girl Scout and Unit Leader herself, she has experienced all the excitement camp has to offer and is thrilled for campers new and old to join in the fun.

At the height of the summer at Potomac Woods, Pandora finds that nothing beats time spent around the fire with new friends and a healthy serving of smores.

Outside of camp, she is wrapping up her Masters in Anatomical and Translational Sciences at the George Washington University in DC. When not in academic mode, she is often found reading, sewing, or hunting down deals at estate sales.

Carla "Cosmo" Harper
Inclusion Coordinator
She/Her

Cosmo has been at GSCNC camps since 2018, working first at Camp Winona before transitioning to Potomac Woods in 2022. She started as a unit counsellor before progressing to unit leader. She joined the inclusion team last summer as an inclusion specialist and is excited to step up this summer as the inclusion coordinator.

Cosmo lives in England where she is an avid competitive netball player and is in the process of finishing her degree in Property Development.

Kate "Leia" Jorgensen
Unit Manager
She/Her

Leia first joined us at CPW in 2013 as a camper, and joined us last year as a unit leader. She is coming back this year as unit manager after graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in psychology and human development. Some of her favorite things to do at camp are hammocking, archery, and our campfire cookouts. In her free time outside of camp, she enjoys reading, cooking, walking, and hiking. Her favorite unit at camp is Tulip Poplar.

Robin "Froggy" Irvine
Youth Leadership Coordinator
He/Him

Hey! Im Froggy and I am the youth leadership co-ordinator for 2024!

Although i was never a Girl Scout as a kid, I spent my summers and weekends camping with the British ACF. I love camp and all things outdoors but in my free time you can find me watching (Or making) films. This summer I am super exited to see our young leaders grow into their roles; and help them have their best summer yet!
