Dancing is a great way for people of all ages to express their inner thoughts through movement! This dance class will teach kids how to get their bodies moving through dance and learn a fun and easy routine that they can perform for their family after dinner one night!

fITNESS cHALLENGE

Staying active during this time is really important, so here is a way to get in a quick fitness session made fun for any kid! Join us in doing some easy exercises while listening to some fun music!

Exercise to Disney

This class combines the joy of Disney classics and the value of exercise! Each week, we will walk the students through an age appropriate and simple, yet challenging workout which includes a warm-up, strength/conditioning, and stretching to end! Each session is themed based off favorite Disney movie/TV show soundtracks!

Zumba

Zumba is a fun type of exercise that is a bit like a dance routine and gets your body moving! It is a super fun way to stay active inside your house.

Yoga

Saturday 5/30 at 11:30 am

Yoga is a great type of exercise that includes stretching, balance, and strength. It can be a great way to relax while still getting some exercise.

Cheer Class

Kids can learn basic cheer motions, chants, kicks, and jumps during our cheer class. Children will learn a new cheer each week and can perform it at the end of each session. This class aims to teach kids fun cheer skills and spirit!

Create

Character Design

Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw your favorite comic, cartoon, and video game characters? Then this is the class for you. You will learn how to draw your favorite characters step by step, the basics of character design, and by the end, you will be able to design your very own characters, as you will have learned basic anatomy, form, silhouette, color theory, etc!

Painting

Showing kids how to express their creativity through this art medium with a variety of activities. Not only will this be a fun activity, but it will be a great opportunity to allow kids to learn different painting techniques as well as broaden their creative knowledge.

Crafts

Being creative is so important for kids to celebrate their uniqueness while getting their minds working in order to create a masterpiece. This class takes simple materials around the house and transforms it into a beautiful masterpiece whether it would be making a garden using cotton balls and green paint, or making a cool 3-d design with just some markers and a piece of paper!

Crafts With Household Items

Kids can use everyday household items (such as shaving cream, toilet paper rolls, etc.) to create beautiful arts and crafts! A great way to keep engaged and to have fun making art.

Step-By-Step Disney Drawing

Despite quarantine being a scary and serious situation, kids are still able to use their imagination and be creative with some Disney magic! Each week students will learn step-by-step how to draw a Disney character while listening to their favorite Disney songs!

Paper Crafts

Paper crafts are a fun and easy way to get creative and make something amazing. In this activity we will cover different paper crafts from making snowflakes to making small pop-up books!

Calligraphy

In this session, we will be teaching children of all ages how to do calligraphy! By using nothing more than something to write with, anyone can learn how to beautify and personalize their words! Everyone's handwriting is unique and through a series of methods tailored to kids, they'll be able to transform their handwriting into something personal and special!

Singing

In this class, kids can learn how to properly sing, while having fun! With the help from a piano player (me), kids can learn about pitch, notes, and how to stay on key. This should help those who are interested in music better their understanding in music, while making use of their time.

Step-By-Step Drawing

Step by step drawing makes creating easy and fun, even if you think you're no good at art. It uses simple step-by-step instructions drawing shapes and lines to create fun animals and other cartoon pictures.

Piano

Join us to better your skills in piano and music. With this class we will learn all about chords, progression, melodies, and technique. Even if you don’t have a piano, due to technological advancements, you can still participate! So if you want to learn piano, or show off your talent, sign up today!

Journaling is a great way to be creative and write your own story. During a time like this, it can be very helpful to take some time to write or draw about your thoughts and feelings. It is also really fun to look back at old journals when you’re older and remember this experience!

Poetry

Being stuck inside constantly, kids need a way to express themselves and have fun doing so! Poetry can be a way for a kid to say what they’re thinking and to experience the world in a different way. This class teaches kids how to write basic poems and is an enjoyable, relaxing, fun activity and creative outlet for all ages!

Drama

If you’re looking to learn some more about live theatre, become a better actor/actress, make some friends, and just have some plain fun, join our drama class! In our sessions, students will learn more about theatre, as well as be interactive with one another as they foster self-expression, sympathy, and a sense of community among themselves. Whether or not you already have a background in performance, our class can provide something valuable to everybody!

Intro to ASL

Wednesday 5/27 at 5:30 pm

Kids who join this class will learn sign language about things they like! They could learn it all about animals, colors, and more! A great and fun way to gain exposure to a new language and to show off to anyone they meet!

At Home Science

Thursday 5/28 at 5:00 pm

Through this activity students will get to conduct fun science experiments with household items! We will learn how to ask questions, make a hypothesis, observe, and collect data. It will be an exciting way to spark curiosity in young students!

Coding

Friday 5/29 at 5:00 pm

Students will explore the world of computer science through different activities, including coding on Scratch and in other programming languages, along with craft projects to demonstrate the concepts of coding in real life. Through this class, students will learn problem-solving skills while also having fun with coding games and more.

Functional Food

Healthy eating is extremely important to do if we want to live long, successful lives. The most important thing is to learn about nutrition, its importance, and how to do it, at an early age. We are going to learn tips and tricks to eat healthy, do crafts to learn the importance of healthy eating, watch videos displaying some recipes, and more. We want to show kids how healthy eating can be fun and delicious!

Study Skills

Online learning has made it more difficult than ever for students to be able to stay on task and motivated. In order to cope with this changing learning format, teen mentors will provide suggestions for studying tips to keep kids motivated and successful.

The Harry Potter series has enraptured the attention of many with the fantastical adventures through Hogwarts and the wizard world. Full of friendships, bravery, and so much more, students will experience an entirely new world. Hosted weekly, this series is great for students of all ages!

Charlotte's Web (Cont.)

Charlotte's Web is a children's novel by American author E. B. White that tells the story of a pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte. I am excited to read this book to children because of its great messages about kindness and persevering to do what’s right. This session is recommended for children in 2nd to 3rd grade, but can be enjoyed at any age and is even fun for parents!

Pocahontas

Pocahontas is a Disney classic about people of two different worlds meeting each other. See what happens when Pocahontas, daughter of an Indian chief, befriends an English leader, John Smith. After reading we will discuss what we liked and disliked about the book. This is recommended for ages 8-11, but Disney lovers of all ages can enjoy it!

Black Beauty (Cont.)

The Lorax

This fun and entertaining book helps kids understand the causes and effects of their decisions, and how we should take care of the environment. After reading we will have a discussion about what we liked and disliked about the book, and what we can do to help the beautiful earth and everything that inhabits it! This is recommended for ages 6-8.

Tales of a fourth grade nothing

This book is great for kids ages 8-10. As we’ll read, we will learn about young Fudge’s trouble making ways. This book will make you laugh and keep you wanting to read more. Join me as we learn about 10 year old Peter and his 3 year old brother, Fudge, as they encounter sibling rivalries, and missing pet turtle problems.

Auggie and Me (Cont.)

Auggie Pullman was an ordinary boy, but one feature set him apart from the rest--his face. However, through his courage and kindness, he was able to bring wonder in both his own life and in the lives of others. Self Love

With times as uncertain as these, we tend to doubt our worth, a catalyst for a decrease in self confidence and motivation. This self love class will boost the students' loving spirits! Whether it be listing 10 things you love about yourself, screaming out positive affirmations to yourself and to the world, or simply communicating, this class will help the young kids learn how to manifest positivity and ultimately become more confident beings!

Ooh-La-La Spa Class

In this creative and fun spa class we will be making spa related items such as lib scrubs, spa water, and crafts like a homemade spa mask and so much more! We want the kids to feel relaxed and stress free during this time and this class helps them do that with making creations and having fun!

Bingo

Bingo is a fun game that can just be for pure entertainment and to let kids have fun. We will have traditional bingo cards as well as some custom themed ones created to make it more interesting.

Escape Room!

Do you love solving puzzles and clues? Do you like a challenge under time pressure? Come do our virtual escape room challenges! Each session participants will set out to work their way out of sticky situations through teamwork and putting their brains to the test. It's a great way to sharpen your critical thinking skills and just have some plain fun!

Epic Lego Challenge

As two individuals whose childhoods were defined by their love for LEGOs, we felt compelled to offer an outlet for students to engage in a fun and exciting challenge to stimulate their creativity and curiosity. Our weekly LEGO livestreams allow students to make innovative choices and challenge themselves in a new and exciting way. All you need are some LEGO blocks, an open mind, and an enthusiastic attitude!

Animal Trivia
