Stay Active

Dance

Monday 5/18 at 3:30 pm

Dancing is a great way for people of all ages to express their inner thoughts through movement! This dance class will teach kids how to get their body moving through dance and learn a fun and easy routine that they can perform for their family after dinner one night!

Staying active during this time is really important, so here is a way to get in a quick fitness session made fun for any kid! Join us in doing some easy exercises while listening to some fun music!

Little Ninjas Martial Arts

Wednesday 5/20 at 5:30 pm

Martial arts is a fun way to stay active, while learning super fun punching and kicking combinations! This class will teach children proper technique, and new, cool moves to practice during quarantine. This martial arts activity is recommended for ages 6-11, but if a child can grasp the concepts faster, they are welcomed to stay! Don’t worry, this activity will not be used for negative circumstances of violence, but will just be a super awesome way to learn a new hobby!

Zumba

Friday 5/22 at 3:30 pm

Zumba is a fun type of exercise that is a bit like a dance routine and gets your body moving! It is a super fun way to stay active inside your house. With fun and age-appropriate songs, kids will have fun exercising and dancing along!

(High Intensity Interval Training)

Don't let the name scare you, this form of exercise is meant to target two main things: strength, and endurance! These workouts are meant to provide an opportunity for students to stay active and reach their fitness goals while at home.

TikTok Dance

TikTok is a popular app where people make brand new creative dances! We will be teaching some of these dances as a great way to exercise, improve coordination, and have fun!

Yoga

Yoga is a great type of exercise that includes stretching, balance, and strength. It can be a great way to relax while still getting some exercise.

We will be doing some fun, simple exercises to some of your favorite Disney songs. With a new theme each week, kids will be excited to exercise!

Character Design & History

Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw your favorite comic, cartoon, and video game characters while learning some cool facts about them? Well, then this is the class for you. First, you will learn how to draw your favorite characters step by step. You will also learn the basics to character design and by the end, you will be able to design your very own characters, as you will have learned basic anatomy, form, silhouette, color theory, etc! Everything in this class will be super easy to understand and you'll become a mini Stan Lee!

Drama

If you’re looking to learn some more about live theater, become a better actor/actress, make some friends, and just have some plain fun, join our drama class! We will hold weekly meetings in which students will learn more about theater, as well as be interactive with one another as they foster self-expression, sympathy, and a sense of community among themselves. Whether or not you already have a background in performance, our class will provide something valuable to everybody!

In painting, we will be creating a new painting project every week with the kids as well as teaching them different painting techniques and showing them how great of an outlet painting can be.

This class takes simple materials around the house and transforms it into a beautiful masterpiece whether it would be making a garden using cotton balls and green paint, or making a cool 3-D design with just some markers and a piece of paper!

Kids can use everyday household items (such as shaving cream, toilet paper rolls, etc.) to create beautiful arts and crafts! A great way to keep engaged and to have fun making art.

Piano

Join us to better your skills in piano and music. With this class we will learn all about chords, progression, melodies, and technique. Even if you don’t have a piano, due to technological advancements, you can still participate! So if you want to learn piano, or show off your talent, sign up today!

Journaling is a great way to be creative and write your own story. During a time like this, it can be very helpful to take some time to write or draw about your thoughts and feelings. It is also really fun to look back at old journals when you’re older and remember this experience!

Being stuck inside constantly, kids need a way to express themselves and have fun doing so! Poetry can be a way for a kid to say what they’re thinking and to experience the world in a different way. Healthy eating is extremely important to do if we want to live long, successful lives. The most important thing is to learn about nutrition, its importance and how to do it, at an early age. In this class, we will learn about nutrition, but we will not be cooking so there is no need for someone older (parents, siblings, etc.) to have to supervise (though we encourage you to also join the class!). We are going to learn tips and tricks to eat healthy, do crafts to learn the importance of healthy eating, watch videos displaying some recipes that kids and parents, guardians, etc. can make together whenever they want, and more. We want to show kids how healthy eating can be fun and delicious!

Do you love to travel? Join us to fly to different countries such as Brazil, Italy, China, and so much more! Each session, we will explore other countries fashion, music, food, language, etc. We also provide an optional “Travel Diary” which will help you keep track of your favorite memories wherever you go! This is recommended for ages 9-11 however all students are welcome to explore with us!

Charlotte's web

Charlotte's Web is a children's novel by American author E. B. White that tells the story of a pig named Wilbur and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte writes messages praising Wilbur on her web in order to persuade the farmer to let him live. This session is recommended for children in 2nd to 3rd grade, but can be enjoyed at any age and is even fun for parents!

The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell

This is one of those hard to put down books that is sure to grow your child’s love for reading, or plant that seed in them. Do you love solving puzzles and clues? Do you like a challenge under time pressure? Come do our virtual escape room challenges! Each session participants will set out to work their way out of sticky situations through teamwork and putting their brains to the test. It's a great way to sharpen your critical thinking skills and just have some plain fun!

Epic Lego Challenge

As two individuals whose childhoods were defined by their love for LEGOs, we felt compelled to offer an outlet for students to engage in a fun and exciting challenge to stimulate their creativity and curiosity. Our weekly LEGO livestreams allow students to make innovative choices and challenge themselves in a new and exciting way. All you need are some LEGO blocks, an open mind, and an enthusiastic attitude!
