Main Outcomes

Results outline.

The objective is to describe the current situation in the more than forty countries where data is being collected. Among the aspects being evaluated are perceptions about daily life effects due to the pandemic, perceived levels of stress, situations that generate more concern, information search patterns triggered by the pandemic, and levels of trust regarding the performance of different governmental agencies and other decision makers.

The data allow comparisons of the results across all participating countries. This gives a clearer idea of the differences that may arise in perceiving and facing the situation.

In addition, we seek to analyze how the evaluated aspects relate to each other, for example, how perceived levels of stress affect decision making, or what is the relationship between trust levels in governmental agencies and concerns over the pandemic.

Finally, pertaining to the situation in Mexico, sharing the survey at different times would make it possible to have an idea of the effects of the pandemic as it advances, on the studied phenomena. To allow this, it is necessary to participate in the survey on more than one occasion.
