CDC and public health officials in several states are investigating a multistate outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to certain home delivery meals.
At this time, Virginia is not affected by this outbreak.

VDH has released the 2024 STD Annual Report. While some STDs have declined or remained stable, cases of syphilis have increased. Congenital syphilis cases increased for the fifth straight year with a record number of cases not seen in 30 years.
