*Chemistry pre-requisite requires the successful completion of MTH 112.

This Dual Enrollment scholarship covers the cost of tuition and fees for ONE (1) STEM-related academic course in Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Math, Physical Science, or Physics.
The scholarship does not cover additional fees associated with the courses, such as proctor fees and book fees.
Students that receive a scholarship for a STEM-related academic course are not required to enroll in a Career & Technical program to be eligible.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is the end of the business day (4:30 pm CST) on August 15, 2022 .
The SU Foundation provides a limited number of Academic Dual Enrollment Scholarships during the Fall and Spring semesters. The deadline to submit the scholarship application for the 2022 Spring semester is November 1, 2021 by close of the business day. To be eligible for this scholarship program, a student must:
Obtain a Southern Union Student ID number by completing the admissions process.
Be in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade
Have a minimum cumulative (unweighted) high school GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Students who were awarded the scholarship for Fall 2021 and have maintained 2.5 GPA in SUSCC coursework must submit an application to renew their scholarship.
