I earned my Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University in 2020. Before becoming a counselor, I was a classroom teacher at the secondary level for thirteen years. 

My graduate program is accredited by the American Counseling Association’s Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), the nationally recognized accrediting agency for counseling graduate programs. I am certified as a school counselor by the state of Texas.    

My husband Brian and I have been married since 2010. Brian is the Director of Instructional Technology at Kilgore College and teaches history for KC on the side! We have one daughter, Arya Rose, who attends Sabine Middle School. She loves cheer, band, football, and all things Disney! 

We enjoy traveling to new places and experiencing new things. We also love to eat at our favorite restaurants and make the occasional Target run, but our favorite thing of all is just being together. We are also active members of our church and enjoy growing our faith and serving the community.
