What Features Are Offered?

 Based on real time input from Clark student athletes, this app's software includes a variety features athletes to specifically plan their weekly schedules, incorporating personal nutrition objectives aligned with their specific training regimens. Also, this app provides an area where athletes can read about how to approach their own nutrition and personal recovery. Additionally, students have access to a database of campus foods, enabling them to explore available food options on campus or find alternatives. Furthermore, the app allows for the booking of training sessions with the school's strength and conditioning coach, as well as consultations from Clark's athletic trainers.



Nutrition and Recovery information: When users click this icon, it will redirect them to a page with specific information about what foods to eat before and after games/trainings and during off days. It also help athletes determine how much of each food group they should eat depending on their body weight and height. Also, healthy recipes and healthy food alternatives are found in this section. There is also specific information about recovery techniques like stretching, icing, rolling and more. There are tutorials for active recovery techniques and knowledge provided about what methods to use and when.

Campus Food Search: Users have access to a special feature that allows them to type in a food item or meal in the search bar and be provided with results detailing where on the Clark campus they may be able to find it. If that food item or meal isn't available that day, it provides similar options and alternatives for the user. This feature also details the nutritional information of each item that shows up in the databases results.

Nutrition Calendar: This feature provides users with a calendar that enables them to program daily/weekly nutrition goals, ensuring that they fulfill proper nutrition needed to succeed as athletes. Each goal is personally curated based on the answers the user has given to the questionnaire when the app is first dowloaded. The user also has the option to add trainings, recovery sessions, and games into the calendar, allowing them to schedule meal times around their daily physcial activity.

Book Appointments: Users are be able to sign up for appointments with both Clark athletics athletic trainers and time slots to lift in the varsity weight room.
