At the beginning of each of my student teaching placements, I sent this document home to the families of students that I was working with. Additionally, I continuously showed respect and professionalism towards families. For example, I meaningfully and constructively engaged with a parent during a Functional Behavior Analysis meeting for their child.
The notecards above display the feedback provided by my cooperating teacher during one of the lessons I taught in my second student teaching placement. I am committed to continually seeking and incorporating feedback into my practice. Collaborating with my cooperating teachers and other professionals who offer constructive feedback is essential to my growth as an educator and aligns closely with component 4e of the Danielson Framework for Teaching. The photo on the right illustrates how I take this feedback and use it as a foundation to deepen my understanding of both my strengths and areas for improvement. This ongoing reflection and refinement process not only supports my current development but will remain central to my professional growth throughout my teaching career.
