In July 2024, her show Le Grand Dimanche soir was abruptly canceled after repeated political controversies, sparking a broader debate about the role of satire in French public life. She responded forcefully in interviews, saying France had gone from “Je suis Charlie” in 2015 to “judicial policing of jokes” in less than a decade.
