Becoming Honorary Consuls

Hong Kong is home to more than 60 honorary consulates. You can check out what an Honorary Consulate is in the important info section above. To sum it up, Honorary Consulates are diplomatic missions usually established in regions with less significance to a country, or where there is not enough of a presence to warrant a fully operational Consulate-General. Currently, more than 53 countries with diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China do not have representation in Hong Kong. As such, we embarked on a mission to represent one of these countries and promote cultural ties between Hong Kong and this said country. We'll put any updates on this page so make sure to follow along. This probably won't happen, but hey it's worth a shot!
