Marybeth Haas

UKCP Accredited Integrative Arts Psychotherapist*

I have an MA Integrative Arts Psychotherapy and Certificate Child Psychotherapeutic Skills, both from the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE, 2010) in London and I have United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) accreditation. I have worked in private practice and within a wide range of client service settings over the last 14 years, working with both adults and children, including bereavement counselling, family support, domestic violence support, sexual abuse support, and older peoples' mental health.

I completed the Creative Supervision training with London Art Therapy Centre in March 2022.

I currently see clients in person at Thewellingtoncentre, 10 minutes walk from Hastings rail station and two minutes from the seafront.

I also work with the amazing local Eggtooth project

Mixed Media Artist

I have always loved making things and being creative and I have used a camera since childhood. I have exhibited and sold work in London, Cornwall, East Sussex and the USA. Dance Facilitator

I trained with Amoda Maa in Ecstatic Trance Dance in 2007/08 and ran regular dance meditation workshops until 2015. This is a form of movement meditation which facilitates personal development, insight and the experience of joyful physical presence.

I continue with my own dance practice in regular 5 rhythms, ecstatic and shamanic dance workshops. Nothing else currently helps me know and understand myself more deeply than the dance!
