TestKit Tracker is provided by Connect Technical Services Limited.
This Privacy Policy explains what information TestKit Tracker uses, how it is stored, and the choices available to users.
TestKit Tracker allows users to record information relating to test and calibration equipment. This may include:
Equipment and asset identification
Serial numbers
Manufacturer and model information
Calibration dates and due dates
Calibration providers and certificate numbers
Equipment notes
Equipment holder and site/location information
Equipment movement history
Calibration history
Calibration certificate files uploaded by the user
This information is entered by the user and is used solely to provide the equipment tracking, calibration management, reporting and reminder functions of the app.
Equipment records are stored locally on the user's device so that TestKit Tracker can operate without requiring a constant internet connection.
Local information remains on the device until it is deleted within the app, the app's data is cleared, or the app is uninstalled.
Creating an account is optional and is used to provide the cloud backup and restore features.
If a user creates an account, TestKit Tracker processes the email address associated with that account for authentication purposes.
Authentication and cloud services are provided using Supabase.
When cloud backup is used, equipment records, calibration history, movement history and uploaded calibration certificates may be stored securely using Supabase services so that they can later be restored to the user's device.
Users who do not use cloud backup may continue to use the app with information stored locally on their device.
Users may choose to attach calibration certificates to equipment records.
Certificate files uploaded for cloud use are stored using private cloud storage and are associated with the user's TestKit Tracker account.
Users can replace or remove certificate files from within TestKit Tracker.
TestKit Tracker may request permission to send calibration reminder notifications.
These reminders are used to alert users when equipment is approaching its calibration due date or has reached its due date.
Notification permission can be changed at any time through the device settings.
TestKit Tracker allows users to create PDF reports, including equipment registers, calibration due reports and individual equipment records.
If a user chooses to save, email, print or share a report, the information is sent only to the destination selected by the user through their device's sharing functions.
Connect Technical Services Limited does not control information after the user has deliberately exported or shared it with another service or person.
TestKit Tracker does not contain advertising.
We do not sell users' personal information and do not use TestKit Tracker data for advertising or marketing profiling.
Purchases of TestKit Tracker are processed by Google Play or the relevant app store.
Connect Technical Services Limited does not receive or store users' payment-card details.
Locally stored equipment information remains on the user's device until the user deletes it, clears the app's data, or uninstalls the app.
Individual equipment records and calibration certificate files can be deleted from within TestKit Tracker.
Cloud-backed information remains associated with the user's TestKit Tracker account until it is deleted.
Users can request deletion of their TestKit Tracker account and associated cloud data. Instructions are provided on our TestKit Tracker Account & Data Deletion page.
Copies of PDF reports that a user has previously saved or shared outside TestKit Tracker are not automatically deleted when app records or an account are deleted.
We take reasonable measures to protect information stored through TestKit Tracker.
Cloud account and backup services are provided through Supabase, and access to cloud records is restricted to the relevant authenticated user.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
TestKit Tracker is a business and productivity application intended primarily for tradespeople, engineers, businesses and other working users. It is not specifically designed for children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if TestKit Tracker's features or data practices change.
The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
