White Canyon, Salama Canyon, and Ain Hodra Oasis

We start at 8 AM from Dahab, drive for one hour to the White Canyon. Here we leave the car and hike in the canyons with our local bedouin guide.

The canyon is carved in the soft rock of a plain, starting as a crack with a sudden deep drop. A ladder and rope are there to help you climb down, The canyon starts between extremely narrow walls, then opens up a bit before coming to another deep drop. A little scrambling is involved up over a hill and down in a crack, and you reach the lower part of the canyon, which connects to the oasis.

When we finish hiking the canyon, we will have our lunch at Ain Hodra Oasis and walk around to see the spring of the oasis.

We then take our jeep for 15 minutes to drive to the Mushroom Rock, then continue by Jeep for one hour to the small Coloured Canyon (Salama Canyon). Here we hike with our guide for 30 minutes in the Canyons, then drive back to Dahab to reach the hotel at 4 PM.
