We start from Dahab from German Bakery Asalah (I can arrange pick up from your hotel/place near to your stay) at 10:00 pm,

Arriving back to Dahab at around midday 

Program:

🕦 10:00 pm - gathering and departing from Dahab

🕐 1 am - Arriving to Saint Catherine City

Driving to the meeting point to meet our guide 

The hike starts after passing the checkpoint

Reaching the top (with several stops) 

Along the way, you will have places to relax 🧘 with warm tea🫖, coffee☕ and snacks🍜

🕠 around 4:45 am. - the group gathers at the top to watch sunrise 🌄

🕡 after the sunrise, we start the way down

🕘 8:45 am - the monastery 🏯 opens (the toilet and cafe work before the opening)

🕙 9:45, leaving to Dahab. 

Please make sure to be on time back from the monastery to the parking (the same dropped off point) at 9:45am

🕚 around 11:30 am - 12 pm, arriving at the same place you started

❗️How many people in the car?

15 persons

➡️If you're 8 or 9 people, I can arrange you a private car, with the same price 45$👌

And if you're less than 8 persons and want a private trip, this can be arranged as well, please contact me for more deets

❗️What if I don't have Flashlight?

We recommend to our hikers to bring a head Flashlight so it's easier for hiking, but other option is using your phone Flashlight or you maybe would like to support our bedouin kids and invest in buying one from them upon arrival in Katrin

❗️How long is the hike?

It's 2 to 3 hours, it's 7 km one way

❗️What's the difficulty level of the hike?

it's an easy hike

❗️What's the name of the mountain we're going to hike?

Mosses Mountain or Jabal Mousa in Arabic

❗️Is there any place we can get food from?

Along the way There's small shops have some snacks, tea, coffe, and other option of soft drinks..

and in the way down there's a shop usually makes breakfast which is a bedouin bread with cheese, chocolate, or honey

🚫Things are not allowed by the guards of the mountain:

Any kind of drugs, alcoholic drinks, swiss knife, any kind of speakers, any country's flag, pets.. all these are not allowed

👉Pick up by car:

Please notice that this is a collecting car, and the gathering time is from 10:00 to 10:30 pm.

For the best experience we recommend that you stay ready in your hotel/house from 9:50 pm as the car might arrive to your pickup point a little bit earlier

And I will text you on WhatsApp (or call you if you have an Egyptian number) 5 mins before the car comes to you so you can get out and meet our driver
