A unique Connect Care role has been created specifically for trainees completing Fellowship with an organ transplant program. This role will only be allocated to Fellows identified by program administrators and directors, this role is not available to residents working an elective or clinical rotation with a transplant service. This add on role requires existing access to Connect Care by completing the appropriate basic training e.g., Inpatient medicine, Cardiology, etcetera.
Outlined below is information about the training and assessment that when completed will enable you to access the transplant functionality of Connect Care
Access to transplant functionality is enabled after completing self-guided training and passing the associated EUPA.
Linked below is the self-guided Transplant training document. The training is organized in to two sections Training and Exercise. The first section provides information and instruction on Transplant functionality that is available in Connect Care. The second section provides you direction on exploring and using this functionality.
For both sections you are asked to login to the PLY version of Connect Care as an example Transplant Fellow to interact with this functionality
After completing this training and exercise book you will be familiar with Connect Care transplant functionality and how to apply this in your clinical setting to manage the patients in the care of yourself and your team.
