First Year Pathology Residents

First year pathology residents complete training for off-service clinical rotations, rather than pathology training.

At the end of first year (spring of next year) you will complete the pathology training in advance of starting your specialty specific clinical blocks.

Completing Connect Care Basic Training

To get access to Connect Care, complete the training that matches with the specialty of your first clinical rotation. 

• Inpatient Medicine basic training

• Pediatrics basic training

• Emergency Medicine basic training

• Surgery training

Training for other specialties

Once you complete your initial basic training you will have access to Connect Care for other specialties, i.e., do not have to complete a EUPA for each specialty. 

But the functionality across specialties, especially Emergency Medicine, ObsGyn, and Surgery, varies.
