Access to Connect Care is dependent on successfully completing the End User Proficiency Assessment (EUPA). This is found just like other courses in MyLearningLink.
Navigate to MyLearningLink https://mylearninglink.albertahealthservices.ca
Login using your AHS username and password
Click on Required Courses (in the blue column on the left of the screen)
Clinical clerks complete the Epic – CMIO Medical Learner EUPA
If it is not visible in Required Courses, use the search function and keywords “Medical Learner” then select and register for Epic – CMIO Medical Learner EUPA
To complete the EUPA follow the provided instructions carefully, including how to have both the EUPA and a Connect Care environment open at the same time. It is important to work through EUPA questions all the way to the end, note whether a pass score is attained or not, and close the EUPA as instructed. The EUPA must be completed with a minimum score of 80% before participants can proceed in training through personalization to optimization. A EUPA pass is also required to gain access to the production Connect Care environment.
While progressing through the EUPA, participants are advised if a response is correct or incorrect. References to learning materials make it easy to review a missed concept or skill.
If unsuccessful at the end of the EUPA, it is possible to re-take as soon as one is ready to try again.
If struggling, please contact help.cmio@ahs.ca to arrange extra help.
When completing your EUPA it is recommended that you login to the PLY Connect Care training environment.
In a separate window use a web browser to navigate to https://myapps.albertahealthservices.ca
Login using your AHS credentials and remote user access PIN
From the page that appears select Connect Care --> Training --> PLY
You can login to ACE using the same credentials used during training
