Family Medicine residents complete a variety of clinical rotations, such as cardiology, emergency medicine, surgery, etc. Completing training for each medical specialty would be challenging and in some cases not needed.
However FM residents will have to complete basic training for inpatient medicine, ambulatory, and emergency medicine. Summarized below is the suggested learning path for Family Medicine trainees.

Once you pass the associated EUPA your access to Connect Care will be enabled overnight.
Ambulatory (clinic) workflows are not covered in the inpatient basic training.

Complete this course while simultaneously logged in to the Connect Care training environment, see information below

Open the Connect Care folder, then the Training folder, launch ACE5 or PLY
Login as IP## (where ## is any number from 01 to 19)

Before gaining access to Connect Care, all trainees must complete a short competency assessment, the End User Proficiency Assessment (EUPA). This is done after basic (in-person) training.
The EUPA can be found in MyLearningLink, listed with Required Courses
Complete the EUPA titled Epic - CMIO Inpatient Admitting Inpatient Only EUPA
Access will be automatically granted (usually overnight) once you have passed the EUPA and completed On Our Best Behaviours privacy training
When completing your EUPA it is recommended that you login to the Connect Care training environment.
