Deborah Brice was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is the youngest of two children born to a single mother; she and her older sibling suffered years of emotional, verbal, and physical abuse at the hands of their mother, who had schizophrenia. Deborah Brice is the mother of two adult children and a grandmother. In 1997, she submitted her life to the Lord Jesus Christ after surviving the hustling lifestyle and the dark side of life on the streets of Philly.
