Company founder

After a research master of science in biomedical computer science at Paris Sorbonne - Pierre & Marie Curie university in 2000, Laurent Goffin has worked during the next twenty years at INRIA Sophia-Antipolis, IRCAD, IGBMC, ICube laboratory and IHU in several projects and different medical or surgical domains. An overview can be visible in his publication list (ResearchGate) and its major engineering projects could be found in project tabs in this web site.

Some projects have given rise to the creation of start-up, to clinical trials, to patents, to licensing or industrial development, and most of them  to international scientific publications. But, some were not pursued or even published, despite encouraging results but they are even presented in this web site and experience and skills are not lost and are waiting for challenging new projects.

All of these projects are multi disciplinary, using knowledge and skills in computer science, in mathematics, in robotics planification and in computer vision. Each project is always associated with surgeons, biologists, neurologists or physicians.

Since the beginning of 2023, Laurent Goffin is co-founder and co-director of the Trustworthy AI Laboratory.
