Company Foundation and aims

In october 2022, Computational Surgery SAS was founded by Laurent Goffin, Research Engineer since 2001 in Computer Science for Robotic and Endoscopic Surgery.

Computational Surgery has a long experience in Augmented Reality and Robotics in in-vivo environment and develops several innovative algorithms for accurate and robust spatial registration for camera and tools in the operating room (O.R.).

Integrating technology into the O.R. while respecting the surgical workflow, security and comfort of patients and surgeons, in the way to improve gestures and clinical results, is at the heart of our approach. When world is racing either in the fruitful ways of the past or in the ephemeral ways of the novelty, being close as possible of surgeons, for the benefit of patients has to remain our main line.

Computational Surgery is constantly building a network of partners in several specialities to expand its collaborations to offer more quality, reliability and efficiency.
