Come to one of our next large group sessions to be a part of our mission! Our calendar is posted on our Home Page under Quick Links.
Compost is an organic material made of decomposed fruits, vegetables, leaves, and of course, coffee! For more information, check out our What is Compost? article.
Contributions to the project can be made by donating compostable materials. See our page on accepted materials for composting. Each of our schools are a drop-off site for compostable materials. If you or your student attend one of our schools, contributions can be dropped off in the bins marked for composting. If you or your child do not attend one of our schools, donations can be made during one of our group sessions. Check our calendar for when and where our next sessions are!
Fresh coffee grounds (coffee grounds before coffee is made with them) are very acidic, and so acidic plants such as blue berries and hydrangeas love them. However, used coffee grounds (coffee grounds after coffee is made with them) mixed with compost are very beneficial to all kinds of plants since the pH is more neutral after the coffee-making process.
