The course is currently described as a "cognitive science" course:
"INTRODUCTION TO COGNITIVE SCIENCE: MINDS AND BRAINS. Introduction to the study of higher mental processes. The course highlights the wide range of topics covered in the field, including memory, perception, language, learning, and thinking. It also introduces approaches to these issues, including experimental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and computer modeling."
However, it may soon convert to a "cognitive psychology" course to be a better fit with the broader curriculum and to better match the expertise of instructors:
"INTRODUCTION TO COGNITIVE SCIENCE PSYCHOLOGY: MINDS AND BRAINS. Introduction to the study of higher mental processes. With a focus on cognition in humans, the course covers the wide range of topics coveredin the field, including perception, attention, learning, memory, language, and thinking. It also introduces approaches to these issues, including experimental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and computer modeling."
