event overview

The TEECA Transportation Contest involves conceptualizing, designing and constructing a transportation device or craft for optimal efficiency. The contest has several variations and can involve concepts associated with air, land, sea, space and / or intermodal transportation. Scoring factors may involve craft performance (i.e., efficiency), design documentation, and fabrication.

team composition

Team members MUST be members of an affiliated TEECA university. Each transportation team will consist of 4-5 students. The team may be composed of no more than 25% graduate students. A maximum of one transportation team may enter from each institution at each TEECA Regional Conference and the annual ITEEA Conference. Note: For the ITEEA Conference, two of the team members must be present for the competition.
