Learn to work and communicate together in teams, committees, and small groups. The focus of this course is on practical experience. Most of the class time is spent working on exercises related to conflict, decision making, leadership, and problem solving. NO PUBLIC SPEAKING.
This course will take a deep dive into the theories and strategies of teamwork. This extremely interactive course will look at topics such as: Group communication theory, teamwork theory, creating cohesion, creating diverse teams, leader ship, decision making, problem-solving, motivation, and creative thinking.

Students will practice the art of persuasion and argumentation. The course will look at how we construct persuasive messages in relationships, politics, debate, advertising, sales, social media, public speaking, print media, and visual media.
Persuasion is the most important skill you can develop. Why? Because without it, your ideas won’t get traction. Without influence, you won’t get the resources or support you need. Without influence, you won’t be able to communicate your unique value to the world.
