Since 2013, the Colorado Mobile Home Residents Alliance or COMHRA has worked to protect the rights of mobile home residents. RESIDENTS, not homeowners or renters, not citizens or non citizens, nor any race, belief or familial status. WE REPRESENT PEOPLE. Ourselves and our neighbors, without question or hesitation. First for ourselves, because many of us are, and remain low income and impoverished residents in mobile home communities owned by individuals and corporations. Regardless of our personal interests, or of any obligation or preference even to landlord or tenant, we have acted solely in the interest of justice. Our charter rules are simple. Honesty, honor, integrity, compassion and inclusion. Regardless of what personal conflicts may arise, it is only by violation of these rules that we will not support anyone in need, and will pursue justice against a resident with equal fervor.
Since we began as nothing more than residents acting without knowledge but in good faith, we've made mistakes, acted with emotion, and on incorrect assumption and misinformation in the past, but have become educated In our rights and the rights of mobile home residents and the status of affordable housing locally and across the country, that exceeds the knowledge of most professionals specializing in these areas. We have become one of the foremost authorities on the rights of every person living in a mobile home, trailer or manufactured housing in the state of Colorado, and we are recognized as such by several municipalities from the city to state level, and have done so for several years in defiance of discriminatory regulation and without cost to the residents, thru occasional donations, hard work and from our own pockets. In doing so, we've assisted in the creation, and change of ordinances, regulations and laws, that are a benefit of both resident and landlord. We've also established programs for assistance and relief to those residents in need of aid, regardless of status or income, to provide home repairs, bill paying, clothing, food, heat, and auto maintenance. In time we will become established as a 504(c) non profit organization, and will continue to operate as representative and relief as needed, and without cost to residents. While we consider all residents of Colorado motile homes as members, our active membership is over 600 individuals in 23 communities. We make no requirement of it, but appreciate and accept all support to continue to provide these services to all residents, and consider someone's use of their time, or service to be more valuable than money.

You can only be evicted for cause. In Colorado Mobile home Communites that means one of three things:
You will likely see and hear many things about Kingsley Management and the parks they own/operate from our members and our leadership. This is only because we started out fighting them, and them alone, and because of the many corporate owners of mobile home communities in existence, that we haven't heard about yet. We are always representative of any resident, as well as any mobile home park owner, manager or employee who operates fairly, and will go so far as to be an intermediary between management, resident and government whenever the need should arise, interested solely in the greater good. There are bad people on BOTH sides of the coin, and anyone can create a problem that impacts others in a negative way. Only by being informed can we properly inform others.
Anyone who understands and wishes to help improve the quality of life for mobile home residents, is welcome, and carries an equal voice. Our administrative operations are based upon the methods and philosophy of the first nations to live on this land. Leadership is equal in status and voice, appointed by majority agreement of the adminstrative council and/or will of the membership population. We have no stipends or paid positions. Resident administrators oversee the routine affairs and address concerns as needed, while relying on our oversight administrators from positions like yours, to provide insight and solutions, and maintain enough trust and faith in each other to heed the recommendations of each other, and provide the best solution possible. While our use of the term "resident" occurs frequently, our group is all inclusive of anyone wishing to participate. For all voices to be heard, all voices must first be equal, and length of term based upon the ability of the adminstrator, their desire to participate, and their commitment to do what is right in the face of what is wrong. And only in those rare circumstances when it would cause more harm than good do we withhold information from anyone, excluding anything which compromises an individuals confidentialty, or anyones health and safety. Equality in all things, and at all times. All41/14All
