The Mission of the Colorado State ACE-CTE for All Board is to promote professional leadership development of members to ensure that career and technical education within the education systems of Colorado will meet the continually changing education and training needs of students who meet the guidelines of the Carl D. Perkins definition of special populations.
Members of the ACE-CTE for All are professionals working with youth or adults, who are:
Individuals with disabilities
Individuals from economically disadvantaged families
Individuals preparing for non-traditional fields
Single parents, including single pregnant women
Out-of-workforce individuals
English learners
Homeless individuals
Youth who are in, or have aged out of the foster care system
Youth with a parent who
Is a member of the armed forces
Is on active duty
The ACE Student Leadership Conference, (SC)2, includes competitive events for attendees. Attendance at the (SC)2 Student Leadership Conference is not a mandate; rather, an exciting adventure for your students. The (SC)2 conference is an event that provides professional development and recognition opportunities for your students.
You must AFFILIATE your chapter for your students to participate in the (SC)2 leadership conference. After completing the CTSO chapter application, you will be sent instructions for registering for the (SC)2 leadership conference. All chapters are limited to bringing 25 students to the conference.
