The ACE Board consists of impassioned professionals from around the state of Colorado who are inspired to advocate for both professionals and students involved within "special populations". Special populations encapsulates a diverse segment of our population including: individuals from economically disadvantaged families, individuals with disabilities, those preparing for non-traditional fields, single parents and pregnant women, the unemployed, English learners, homeless individuals, youth who are in or have aged out of the foster system, and youth with active duty military parents/guardians. The ACE Board advocates at a national and state level and actively provides professional development opportunities for both students and professionals.
