CollegeFill Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the CollegeFill Chrome extension, website, profile import or export functions, or optional AI/MCP connector, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use CollegeFill.
If you are not legally able to agree to these terms on your own, you may use CollegeFill only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. CollegeFill is not directed to children under 13.
Description of the Service
CollegeFill is an application-organization and form-filling tool. It helps users organize selected college application information in a local Master Profile and fill supported Common App and University of California application pages.
CollegeFill may also provide profile import, export, validation, and preparation functions through compatible AI assistants and MCP-enabled tools.
CollegeFill does not provide college admission decisions, guarantee admission, act as an admissions counselor, or submit an application on a user's behalf.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
• Providing information that you are authorized to use.
• Reviewing the accuracy and completeness of all profile information.
• Reviewing every field placed into an application.
• Following the rules and terms of the applicable application service.
• Protecting exported profile files and deciding when and where to share them.
• Saving, continuing, and submitting applications yourself.
CollegeFill never clicks a final application-submission control. You remain solely responsible for the content and submission of your applications.
Acceptable Use
You may not use CollegeFill to:
• Provide false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information.
• Impersonate another person.
• Access another person's application or information without permission.
• Violate any law or the terms of Common App, the University of California, an AI service, or another third-party service.
• Interfere with, damage, abuse, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to CollegeFill or related services.
• Upload passwords, authentication codes, Social Security numbers, payment information, or application login credentials to the AI/MCP connector.
User Content and Data
You retain ownership of the information you enter, import, or provide. You authorize CollegeFill to process that information only as needed to perform the functions you request.

AI and MCP Functions
Information or profile output prepared by an AI assistant or MCP-enabled tool may be incomplete or inaccurate. You must review it before importing it into CollegeFill or using it in an application.
The CollegeFill MCP connector does not log in to, navigate, control, save, or submit Common App or UC applications. It prepares profile information for the user to review and import.
Third-Party Services
CollegeFill works with or alongside third-party services such as Google Chrome, Common App, the University of California application, and compatible AI services. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.
CollegeFill is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Common App, the University of California, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, or other AI platform providers.
No Professional Advice or Admission Guarantee
CollegeFill provides technical organization and form-filling assistance. It does not provide legal, financial, educational, or professional admissions advice.
CollegeFill does not guarantee application acceptance, admission, scholarships, financial aid, or any other outcome.
Service Availability and Changes
CollegeFill may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features when necessary. Supported pages may change when third-party application websites change.
CollegeFill does not guarantee that every application page, field, browser configuration, document, or AI service will always be supported.
Disclaimer of Warranties
CollegeFill is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CollegeFill makes no warranties that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or compatible with every third-party website.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CollegeFill and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, missed deadlines, application errors, admission decisions, or other losses resulting from the use of or inability to use CollegeFill.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending Use
You may stop using CollegeFill at any time by clearing its local data and uninstalling the extension.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated when CollegeFill's features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
