Cut and Fill

The following diagrams shows the area of the park requiring excavation (cut) and embankment (fill). This diagram was necessary in creating the budget to determine the cost of earthworks. The diagram was created using Autodesk Civil3D. The cut and fill diagram compares the existing and proposed surfaces of the park to find elevation and volume differences.

This project required learning how to use Civil3D to make a cut and fill diagram. The following diagram is the first attempt to learn cut and fill and demonstrates team progress and learning throughout the semester.
