Welcome to the CoGET MOOC — a space to explore, learn, connect and create.

Today’s classrooms are increasingly diverse. Students bring different languages, cultures, identities, experiences and perspectives into the learning environment. For teachers, this diversity offers rich opportunities for learning, but it can also raise important questions: How can we create classrooms where everyone feels valued and included? How can we prepare students to engage respectfully with people who are different from themselves? And how can education contribute to a more just, sustainable and connected world?

The CoGET project explores these questions through Global Citizenship Education, intercultural competence and collaborative learning. At the heart of the project is the idea that teachers do not have to face these challenges alone. Learning with and from others — across cultures, countries and educational contexts — can open up new perspectives and inspire new approaches to teaching.

In this MOOC, you will explore key ideas, practical examples and learning activities designed to help you develop your own understanding and practice. You will encounter different perspectives, reflect on your own experiences, exchange ideas with other learners and experiment with approaches that can be brought into your own educational context.

Throughout the course, we invite you to be curious, reflective and open to different  perspectives. There are no simple answers to many of the issues we will explore. Instead, this MOOC is a place to ask questions, challenge assumptions and learn through dialogue and collaboration.

You will also discover the CoGET Third Space — a digital environment designed to support interaction, collaboration and intercultural learning. It provides an opportunity to step outside the familiar classroom and explore new ways of connecting with others.
