This theme measures how the agency supports young people to take the lead on projects they design. Does the agency provide tangible support to initiatives stemming from young people?
Means to achieve this theme:
1. Support for initiatives led by young people
2. Funding for initiatives
3. Controls for funds
Colorado scores were consistently higher than the national average for this theme. Although Item c: Control of Funds, is an area of strength compared to the national average, it is still below the 3/5 halfway mark on scores – although Colorado is doing better than the national average, there is still room for improvement.
