Day 13: Letting God Lead
Verse of the Day:
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way." - Psalm 37:23 (KJV)
Reflection:
As we journey through the new year, let us consciously choose to let God take the lead in our lives. The psalmist beautifully declares that the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord. This truth invites us to surrender the reins of our lives to the One who knows the path ahead.
Letting God lead is an act of trust and surrender. It involves acknowledging His sovereignty and seeking His guidance in every decision, big or small. When we allow God to take the lead, we find delight in His way, discovering a journey filled with purpose, peace, and divine direction.
Reflect on areas in your life where you may be holding onto control. In prayer, release those areas to God, asking Him to take the lead. Trust that His plans for you are good, and His guidance will light the path for the year ahead.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge Your sovereignty and wisdom. As we step into this new year, help us to let go of control and trust You to lead us. Order our steps according to Your perfect plan, and may we find delight in walking in Your way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Action Step:
Identify an area in your life where you need to relinquish control and let God lead. Surrender it to Him in prayer, trusting in His guidance.
