Speech From the Throne
The first major test of any government is their Speech from the Throne, which lays out their plans of what they want to do during a term. After a Federal Election, within 2 weeks a Speech from the Throne written by the government and delivered by the Governor General will go up for Debate and Vote.
Legislation Submission
Legislation Submission opens soon after the election, if you have a Bill or a Motion you want Parliament to Consider, you should submit it as early as possible because priority is given to legislation that has been waiting longer.
The Senate
There is no Senate on CMHoC, in the world of CMHoC the Senate of Canada was Abolished in October of 2023 after a nationwide referendum.
Bills
These are written to create new laws and to create government actions.
Can be amended by MPs in a Committee of the Whole.
They have to be passed through the House of Commons to become Law.
Motions
These are Written for the House to Give an Opinion on something, and are not binding.
Can be amended by MPs.

Every Monday
Held in the House
Questions for the first 3 days, then answers for the next 3 days.
Members' Statements
Every Thursday
MPs may make a statement on whatever topic they want.

These are Debate Topics submitted by a Member of Parliament, a thread will be dedicated to debating the specific topic.
