Term 1 --- Week 1

8  : Zoltan  : The horrible game, y=x^2+2. Difference tables.

               Chocolate game. Nim and the winning strategey for 2-pile Nim.

9 & 10  : Graham   : Graph Theory. The cut and join game.

                Special session in which you take an arbitrary graph

                and "join" gets to make an edge permanent while "cut" gets

                to sever an edge. "Join" wins if they make a path from a

                pre-specified start node to a finish node. "Cut" wins if

                they sever all paths from start to finish.

              Worked through various versions of proof for Q2 on board.

9 : Ralph   : Q4 Junior Ordinary ToT 2004. A discussions of what

              it means for a fraction to be an integer.

              Converting divisibility a|b to an equation b=c*a.

              Solved question 4.

10: Peter   : Junior Ordinary ToT 2004. Q1 done, Q2 revised.

              Q3 partially done.

11:Srinivasa: Senior Ordinary Spring 2004 ToT.
