Access to Connect Care is dependent on successfully completing the End User Proficiency Assessment (EUPA). These are found just like other courses in MyLearningLink.
Navigate to MyLearningLink https://mylearninglink.albertahealthservices.ca
Login using your AHS username and password
Click on Required Courses, in the blue column on the left of the screen
The EUPA that matches with your specialty should be listed here
Click on the title of the EUPA and then click the Register link.
If the appropriate EUPA is not shown, or if you are not sure which to complete, please email help.cmio@ahs.ca stating which EUPA you are needing to complete
The EUPA can be found in MyLearningLink, listed with Required Courses
Complete the EUPA titled Epic - CMIO Medical Learner EUPA
Access will be automatically granted (usually overnight) once you have passed the EUPA and completed On Our Best Behaviours privacy training
When completing your EUPA it is recommended that you login to the Connect Care training environment.
In a separate window use a web browser to navigate to https://myapps.albertahealthservices.ca
Login using your AHS credentials and remote user access PIN
From the page that appears select Connect Care --> Training --> PLY
You can login to ACE using the same credentials used during training
Login: CC## (where ## is any number between 01 and 19)
password: train
Difficulties have been reported when prescribers working remotely complete and pass a EUPA, but MLL fails to record this automatically. There may be problems at the level of the network, computer or browser.
To check whether a EUPA moved to "Pass", log out of MLL, refresh the browser and log back in. Click on the "Completed" tab under "Learning Home"; the completion date will display beside the course name.
If, despite following the personal device configuration tip, a Pass assessment does not get credited, prescribers should complete an “attestation” process to document EUPA completion and grade assignment. This will allow progression to Connect Care access and the next stage of training:
