In the following photos you can see some "documents" from our area that prove our assumptions:
Plane tree from the Christmas park in Aigio, on December 28, 2023. We see that a few of the tree's leaves have turned yellow, most remain green
Vine in mountainous Aegialia, on December 29, 2023. Usually the farmers of our area start the vine branch from the beginning of November, this year the climates had not shed their leaves until the end of December. In addition, we notice in the photo that the weeds remain, while normally they should have dried up
Orange trees from a local estate on February 23, 2024. The orange tree is of the "Valencia" variety, i.e. summer oranges that are green in winter and turn to their normal orange color once spring arrives. Due to the high temperatures, the oranges have taken on their color much earlier than normal and unfortunately fall to the ground in a very large percentage
Because Aegialia is a rural area, we can cite other examples of this kind that show that there is a real problem, such as the excessively reduced production of olive oil (mainly) and citrus fruits.
Almond tree in our area on February 24, 2024. No, there is nothing paradoxical about the photo! The almond tree bloomed on time! Some functions of nature have not been affected.
