Snohomish County Community Rights Group

The Snohomish County Community Rights (SCCR) is a public benefit and educational organization created in response to the urgency of climate and ecological crises and government failure to respond to them. To that end, it is working towards connecting and empowering communities in the pursuit of local democratic self-determination in matters of their fundamental rights, their natural environment, their quality of life, health and safety.

SCCR was formed in 2017 by citizens of the Snohomish County who wanted to address a growing concern for corruption of industry and government, heavy use of residential chemicals, massive toxic pesticide spraying on industrial timber plantations, potential toxic contamination of watersheds and drinking water sources, harm to the communities, watersheds, ecosystems, economy, and climate.
