EXPORTING AND SHARING
ClickPath provides three primary export formats.
INTERACTIVE HTML
Select “Export interactive HTML” to create a self-contained click-through demonstration.
The exported HTML file:
• Opens in a compatible web browser
• Does not require ClickPath to be installed
• Does not require the viewer to create an account
• Can work without an internet connection
• Can be shared directly or hosted on an approved static website
PDF GUIDE
Select “Create PDF” to generate a clean, printable guide containing your screenshots and written instructions.
Use the PDF-only instructions field when a screen requires additional details for someone following the printed guide.
NARRATED VIDEO
Open Video Studio to render the current guide, a selected section, or a combined timeline as a video.
PROJECT BACKUPS
Select “Back up project” to save an editable ClickPath project file.
A project backup preserves your screens and editing information so you can reopen and revise the project later. The exported HTML, PDF, and video formats are finished deliverables and should not be treated as editable project backups.
Before making major changes, save a new project backup so you can return to the earlier version if needed.
